Released in drips and drabs for god knows what reason, Alexander Wang's "cinematic" campaign for Balenciaga starring Kristen McMenamy is as haunting as it is beautiful. Emotion filled, Wang attempted to somewhat "contrast..the austerity bestowed in the show."Photographed by Steven Klein, the largely monochromatic images draw a focus on the shape of the garments and their relationship with a woman's body.
Alexander and Kristen are a match made in fashion heaven.
